Competition Winner Announced !

The time has finally come to announce the winner of my Competition!

The lucky lady who has won a pair of earrings of her choice from my current collection for her Wedding day is......
Clare Leworthy of Barnstaple in Devon.

Well Done Clare !

For those who entered and didn't win, but would like to know how long it did actually take me to make the Titania Crown, all can now be revealed....

The Crown took
5 hours and 22 minutes
to create.

Clare's winning guess couldn't have been much closer at an amazing 5 hours and 24 minutes!

I had 75 guesses in total, and some were really close, and others not so close!
It was very interesting for me to hear your guesses, and the competition was a great talking point at all the Wedding Shows I exhibited at in October.

If you didn't win on this occasion, keep your eyes peeled, and remain on my mailing list, as I may run another similar competition in the future.

Thank you everyone for your entries.

If you are so dissapointed that you didn't win your wedding earrings from me,
please remember that .....
I offer a bespoke service where I can design something especially for you, at prices I guarantee will beat the high street!
All you need to do is contact me through my website, and we can take it from there!

Love Sarah x

Competition Update !

The Competition to win your Wedding earrings is well under way!

After exhibiting at 2 large Wedding shows this month, I have received many entries by lots of ladies who all would like to win a little bit of my bling for their special day.

So this is just a little update to let you know how many entries I have had so far etc...

I have been telling you all that ''You've gotta be in it to win it!'' and
''There is more chance of winning my competition than winning the lottery!'' :)

Well that is definitely the case, as there are only 74 entries to date, so that means the odds are not that bad for you to be in with a chance of winning!

I have had some very close guesses and also some that are not so close, to put it kindly:)
So good luck all of you.

The winner will be notified by me personally after the competition officially closes on the 22nd October. So you may get a phone call on the 24th !!

And the lucky ladys name, her winning guess, and the actual time it took me to make the Titania Crown will be published here at the end of October.

New tiaras in my collection!

As readers of my blog, you are among the first to see two brand new tiara designs I have created this week.

They are to be officially launched at the 'Autumn Wedding Show' at Westpoint Arena, Exeter on 8th & 9th October!

The first is a rather delicate design called 'Blossom' because of the beaded flowers I have made. It is made from freshwater cultured pearls, clear quartz flower beads and Cezch crystals.

The second I have named 'Entwined' . I am sure you can see why I have chosen this name, as the freehand wirework I have used in the design is tangled, wrapped and entwined together!

I hope you like them.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe it!
It is only just over 3 weeks to go before I exhibit at the biggest Wedding Show I have ever done!

I am really excited about the Autumn Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena near Exeter.
I am going to have a lovely corner stand. ( number 401) Please come and see me!

It is set to be a huge show, with over 150 exhibitors, the most I have ever exhibited alongside in the past has been about 40!

I am going to the arena the afternoon before the exhibiton to decorate my shell stand with some lovely ivory patterned wallpaper that I bought especially for the occasion!

I am looking forward to the event, and hope that it will be all that I want it to be.

Please visit my calendar of events on my website for full details of this show if you would like to come.

Hi Blog readers.
I apologise for not being at all active on my blog for quite some time.
I have however been in the process of improving my website, and I wanted to focus on one thing at a time.
I do now have quite a lot of news to let you know.

Firstly, I am now a member of ' Marry Me in Somerset' A website with dozens of wedding professionals and suppliers who are there for anyone planning their dream wedding in the West Country ! As I live in Taunton, you can see why this makes sense ! They have a great website, and I do recommend you paying them a visit.

I am also involved with the website 'Book your Wedding.com' So that is another site to check out !

Another really exciting bit of news from me is that I have decided to purchase a streamline card machine which will enable me to take credit and debit card payments for my jewellery !
I am actually in the process of waiting for my terminal to be delivered, ( about 2-3 weeks wait ) and I hope when it arrives that the instructions are clear enough !

I am very pleased about this, as I have lots of Wedding fairs and other craft events planned throughout the rest of 2011, and lots especially happening on the run up to Christmas.
I am delighted to now be in a position where I will be able to take card payments, as I am sure that this will make things better for you my customers.

One final bit of excitement before I sign off.
I am going to soon have a calendar of events on my website, that I will be updating regularly whenever I book a new event.
This will mean that you can check my website often to see where and when I will be next exhibiting my handcrafted jewellery collections.
Most events will be Wedding Fayres, but look out for the craft fayres, pamper evenings, and Christmas events listed as well ! :)

This means that I will not be listing any further events on my BLOG, as I have done previously.
Though I may well speak about the events and how I am preparing for them here instead.

I hope you will like all the changes I am making, and please feel free to contact me through my feedback form on my website, if you have any questions or suggestions.
Even just to say Hi, as I would like to hear your opinions on my website.

Thanks a lot.
Love
Sarah x
